When things feel harder
You may be keeping up appearances while struggling to feel like yourself.
Maybe your energy is low, you’re pulling away from people, or things you used to enjoy feel distant. Sometimes the hardest part is explaining what has changed.
Depression therapy is a space to talk honestly about what you’re experiencing and build manageable steps toward connection, routine, and what matters to you.
- “Things I used to enjoy don’t feel the same.”
- “Even small tasks feel exhausting.”
- “I’m pulling away from people.”
- “I’m hard on myself, whatever I do.”

Questions about depression therapy.
It’s okay to have questions.
We can talk them through.
Do I need a depression diagnosis?
No. You can reach out about low mood, loss of interest, or changes in motivation without a diagnosis. We’ll discuss your experience and whether our therapy is a suitable fit.
What if I don’t know how to explain how I feel?
You don’t need the right words before beginning. We can start with changes you’ve noticed in your days, energy, relationships, or routines.
Can therapy work alongside medication?
Therapy can be part of a broader care plan. Medication decisions belong with your prescribing healthcare professional. With your consent, your clinician can discuss coordination of care where appropriate.
Is depression therapy virtual?
Wayfinder offers virtual appointments for clients in Toronto and across Ontario. We’ll discuss your needs, privacy, and whether virtual outpatient therapy is appropriate before beginning.
Can I use my insurance benefits?
Coverage depends on your plan and your clinician’s professional designation. Check with your insurer about coverage for a Registered Social Worker or Registered Psychotherapist before booking.
